Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 10: 3-6

Memory Verse:  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV)

Anwinli Ojeikere is married to Pastor Ohis Muyiwa Ojeikere. Together, they are widely known as The Winlos.

In a personal testimonial, she wrote: “I came from a broken home. I never knew what it meant to be part of a loving, godly, family. I didn’t hear, “I love you” spoken freely. I saw my dad abandon my mum and us, five children, to go live with a side chick. All I saw was chaos, silence, blame, and wounds that never fully healed. The devil told me I would repeat the same story, that I would never rise, never heal, never build anything different.”

But what did she do?

1. “I fought back. Not with my strength, but with the truth from God’s word.  ‘Casting down imaginations…’ 2 Corinthians 10:5. I changed my confession. I am not my background. I am born of God. I am a curse breaker. My home will be built on Christ. Every demonic lineage ends with me. I break negative patterns. I turned trauma into prayer points. I began to speak those revelational words until it became real.

2. “And beyond words, I also began to intentionally live by kingdom values, aligning my life with Christ day by day. ‘As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him.‘ Colossians 2:6. It is not just WORDS it is WALK.

Maybe your story is one of heartbreak, failure, or delay. And maybe the enemy is whispering, YOU CAN’T RISE! I came to tell you, the devil is a liar. You will rise above limits. You will break the cycle. You will not end where you started. In Jesus’ name. You are a cycle breaker. Be refreshed!

Pastor Ohis Muyiwa Ojeikere, her husband once said of his wife: “We are from different backgrounds, my wife came from a broken home and she saw the way her father treated her mother, so she had the mentality that when she got married, no man will boss over her. That affected us at first but with time, series of counselling, prayers, and mentoring, we are better today.”

Now to You! Don’t allow your past trauma cause your destiny to pass away. Don’t allow your background put your back on the ground. Negative pattern can be stopped if you will dare handle it prayerfully, transform your mind daily with the Word of God, submit yourself to mentorship and counselling, and above all, cry out for the mercy of God. Cheers to your new life – From trauma to triumph. That describes you! Hallelujah!!

QuoteWhile trauma leaves its mark, it doesn’t have to define or control one’s future. But, the choice is yours!

Prophetic Decree: Let every traumatic experience lose its hold over your life, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Say: I purge my consciousness with the Blood of Jesus.

2. Say: I purge my subconscious mind with the Blood of Jesus.

3. I laminate my heart, in the pool of the Blood of Jesus.

4. By the mercy of God, I shall convert past trauma to future testimony, in Jesus name.

5. My purpose is in my pain. Hence, this trauma shall pass and I will overcome, in the name of Jesus.
