Life on Earth is interdependent. God will give you some material things because of some other people. God will put resources in your hands because of His projects in the lives of many others. Do you want to conquer Year 2026? Develop a heart of kindness.
1. Football Player A wrote: When Football Player B, I, and some of other players did an advertisement (ad) for a beverage company before the 2010 World Cup, Player B met some people in a remote village in the African forest, played football with them, but in the end he said to me in a serious tone, “Player A, do you see that these people drink dirty water while we play for millions of euros?” The next day I heard from the company director that Player B donated his entire share of the advertisement to dig wells for the village and build a good hospital, school, playground and other things. The best thing is that he insisted on not mentioning his name in this donation.
Six months later, Player B sent a doctor, an accountant and an engineer to the village to make sure that the money reached its owners and that the projects were actually built. Do you know the phrase that is still embedded in my mind to this day? On the plane back to South Africa, I asked him, “Why all this secrecy?” He gave me an answer I will never forget: “Because Africa doesn’t need ads, it needs actions. And real actions don’t need testimonials!” Player B’s greatest goals were not scored in the goal, but in the hearts of those who do not know football!
2. Dr. Oguz Basut was performing a delicate surgery on a young woman’s salivary gland tumour, which was close to an important facial nerve. During the operation, he suddenly felt weak because of food poisoning from the previous day and his blood pressure dropped. Instead of stopping the operation, he asked his team to put an intravenous (IV) in his foot so he could keep working while sitting. The IV helped him recover quickly, and he continued the surgery without leaving his patient. He later said he could not abandon such a critical operation.
Challenge: You and I have something to give in cash and/or in kind. Don’t wait till you have the millions. Make giving your lifestyle. A smile, a helping hand, a word of encouragement, showing up for a friend in crisis, praying for a friend, interceding for nations, etc. Let no day pass by without giving.

Prayer Focus
Thank you Father for your Word in season. O Lord, please help me to live for you and not for myself. Lord, help me die to self, selfishness, and selfish living. Help me to see your purpose in the seemingly little things I have. Help me to know that you have blessed me that I may be a blessing unto others, in Jesus name.
