What is character assassination? This is a deliberate attempt to destroy someone’s reputation, especially by criticizing them in an unfair and dishonest way when they are not present. It aims to influence the portrayal or reputation of someone in such a way as to cause others to develop an extremely negative or unappealing perception of them. Do you know that there are people Satan inspires to take your name from one person to another spreading false information about you.
Sometimes they are saying the fact, but the spirit behind those facts are evil. They have an evil intention against you. They will not forgive your mistakes. They will misinterpret your noble intentions. They keep taking your name from pillar to post saying nothing good about you. Some of these agents of wickedness are only victims of an agenda the devil is out to perform looking for a human vessel to play out. Probably because such people are very loquacious (they talk too much), the devil hires them. They are unconscious players in an unholy warfare against you.
Other character assassins are either possessed or obsessed by a strange spirit. Consider Balak who went from altar to altar in order to destroy the children of Israel. He eventually found a partner in Balaam. Save for the mercies of God, the entire Israelites could have been wiped off. This is the ministry of evil broadcasters. They are everywhere. In your home, family, neighbourhood, workplace, etc., They have refused to be heralders of good news.
They want everybody to see you in bad light. They magnify your shortcomings and downplay your strengths. What a wicked agenda! Today, you must wage war against them. The officials of the king were all out to destroy Daniel. Daily, they scouted for an evidence against him. They checked the books of record if there was any fraudulent or financial dealings. They kept all night scheming out a plan that he may lose favour with the king. They eventually hatched out a plan. “Let’s use his religious acts against him.
Let’s use his devotion to his God has a bait against him before the king,” they said. They tricked king Darius until he signed a law that no one should pray to any other god for 30 days (Daniel 6:1-24). I am sure you probably have such people in your place of work and extended family spreading false rumours and scheming various evil plans against you. I come with a rod of judgement, if they don’t repent they will disgrace after the order of Daniel’s enemies. I come with a rod of judgement, if they don’t repent they will die after the order of Haman. Your Mordecai must be vindicated before king Ahasuerus.

Prayer Focus
1. Let God arise and let His enemies be scattered, in Jesus name.
2. Every tongue rising against me in judgement in my place of work, be condemned, in Jesus name.
3. Every tongue rising against me in judgement in my nuclear family, be condemned, in the name of Jesus.
4. Every tongue rising against me in judgement in my neighbourhood, be condemned, in Jesus name.
5. Every tongue rising against me in judgement in my household, be condemned, in Jesus name.
6. I command the altar of every evil broadcasting station to catch fire, in Jesus name.
