- Educational fall –Out: Every pregnant teen will have to leave school for at least one year for obvious reasons- to take care of herself and the baby before and after birth. This is incredible. That means such a teen girl will be lagging behind if she ever sums up courage to come back to school. Anything that will tamper with your education should be avoided.
- Social stigma: In this fast growing elite society of the 21st century, such a girl becomes an object of ridicule in the society.
- Shame: She becomes ashamed in the midst of her peers.
- Such a teen becomes a disappointment to her Parents and loved ones after so much investment.
- Stress: Most teenage pregnancy happens unexpectedly and launches a young girl into a season of unprepared motherhood which could be very stressful. Can you imagine combining baby care with the rigours of school work?
- Psychological trauma/ Emotional pain: Most teens who find themselves pregnant need emotional healing and a lot of encouragement. Else, they could suffer from this regret everyday of their life.
ACTION WORD: LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP.
PRAYER POINT:
- My Father (3ce), please help me not to destroy myself and my glorious future.
- Holy Ghost fire, separate me from anyone the devil may be bringing to destroy my destiny, in the name of Jesus.
