Bible Reading: 1 Peter 5: 6-7, Psalm 66:12
Memory Verse: But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him. Jeremiah 17:7 (BSB)
Many are silently in deep anguish and slowly sinking into a state of depression. They look back into their past and they are full of pain, regret and sorrow of heart. I know you are meant to have traveled oversees but there are forces that stopped you just at the edge of your breakthrough. I know you are meant to have been married, but you were jilted at some point. I know you are meant to be carrying your own child(ren), but there were complexities and delays in child bearing. I know you need healing from the long aged sickness or infirmity despite all you have done in seed sowing, faith confessions, etc.
I know you are meant to have gotten a good job, but the strongman of your father’s house wouldn’t let you be. Once he appears in your dreamland, appointment terminates. I know you are in dire need of miracles because doctors have given up on your terminal case. I know you are in need of admission into college, or in need of financial support. I know you were disappointed by the many promises from “well-wishers” during your late fathers demise even as a little child. Inspite of all these brethren, cast your cares upon Jesus for He alone truly cares. Men could fail. Doctors could have passed a medical verdict. Opportunities could have been lost. Finances may not be available. The fruit of the womb may not be forthcoming, but Jesus never fails. He will surely visit you soon. He will surely restore your wasted years. Only trust Him. Don’t give up on Him. When He comes in as the Great Redeemer of times and season, there shall be multiple harvest. What you have lost in 10 years can be gathered back in 6 months. Wait on Him.
Quote: If Jesus won’t help, who will?
