Bible Reading: Psalm 27: 1-14

Memory Verse: The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?   Psalm 27:1

  1. First, be sure God ordained it (Phil.4:6): It could be a project, a task or exam. God will not support what He did not commission (1 Thes.5:24).
  2. Exercise strong faith in God (Romans 8:14): Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Are you afraid of death, search the scriptures concerning Christ’s victory over death and confess it daily until it enters your spirit and you believe every Word.
  3. Read about testimonies of people who had done what you are about to do (Rev.12:11): It will encourage your heart, strengthen your faith and give you wisdom on what to do.
  4. Confess positively no matter the storm (Numbers 14:28): What you believe in your heart must be confessed with your mouth. Say daily to yourself: God never fails, so I cannot fail.
  5. Surround yourself with positive thinkers and value adders (Acts 4:23-31):  You need people who will encourage and motivate you all the time. Who you follow determines what follows you.
  6. Pray (1 Thes.5:17): Prayer is the hand of God that moves the Universe. Cast out the spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7).
  7. Be expectant (Provs. 23:18): Expectation is the mother of manifestation. The expectation of the righteous shall not be cut off.
  8. Take calculated risk and bold steps towards your goal (James 2:26b).
  9. Never give up (Mat. 24:13): Persevere till the end.

Quote: Thinking will not overcome fear but action will.

Prophetic Word: Let every fear coliide with the Rock of ages and die, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus:

  1. By the power of God, I run through every barrier and by the power of God, I leap over my fears, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Impossibility Specialist, arise and lead me above all my fears, in Jesus name.
  3. My Lord and my helper, strengthen my  faith, in Jesus name.
  4. I bring down every stronghold of fear, in Jesus name.
  5. Holy Spirit arrest my fears, in Jesus name.
