Can I tell you two prayers that can never fail? 1. Help me, Lord. 2. Have mercy upon me, O Lord. Blessed is the man who the Lord has chosen to help. Blessed is the man whom the Lord has chosen to have mercy upon. It is better for God to help a man than for a man to help himself. Practical ways to keep your prayer altar burning include:
5. Be baptised with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues: You cannot enjoy life in the spirit without a full blown relationship with the Holy Spirit. Sometimes you have to speak in tongues for about 30minutes before your spirit can begin to ascend. You need to shake off the challenges of life trying to keep you bound by praying in tongues (mysteries). Pray hard when it is hardest to pray. You will not always feel like praying yet, you must pray.
6. Maximise your free time: Sometimes the challenges of work, studies and life may cause you to miss your prayer time especially as a beginner in the school of prayer. Learn to augment. Pray while cooking, sweeping, bathing, brushing, while trying to catch a bus or train, etc.
7. Pray for the spirit of prayer and supplication: Zechariah 12:10 (AMP) “I will pour out on the house of David and on the people of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace (unmerited favor) and supplication.” Tell God to mercifully release the spirit of grace and supplication upon you.
8. Be hungry for more of God: Have you wondered what has kept the fathers of faith ever praying despite seeing the miraculous and expansion of their lives and ministries for decades? It is simply Hunger For More Of God! They keep pressing into God who is never exhaustive. Their soul is ever thirsty to know more of God. The more you know God, the more you realise you need to know more. Blessed are the hungry for they shall be filled. The depth of God is never ending.

1. Anointing to pray and get instant results, fall upon me, in Jesus name.
2. My Father, please baptise me with a prayer burden today in Jesus name.
3. Power to pray unto breakthrough, overshadow my life, in Jesus name.
4. As the deer pants after the water brooks, so let my soul pants after you, O Lord my redeemer, in Jesus name.
5. Give me Oil in my lamp to keep me burning, O Lord.
