Bible Reading:     2 Corinthians 8:10-14

Memory Verse:      The way of a sluggard is like a hedge of thorns, but the path of the upright is a level highway. Proverbs 15:19 (ESV)

“You may delay, but time will not.” ~ Benjamin Franklin.

“Eunice, won’t you do your school assignment”? Mrs. Theresa, Eunice’s mum, questioned her daughter. “I’ll do it much later mum, it’s just Friday. I’ve got two more days before school on Monday”, Eunice responded.

Eunice is so reluctant to do away with her favourite TV cartoon programme forgetting it is “work before pleasure”. Many of us can relate to this as students.

I’m sure you remembered that your school uniform wasn’t washed before you went to bed last night. Yet, you procrastinated believing a miracle should happen before day break.

Power supply in your area is usually between 6-9pm every night. You told your friends you believe there won’t be power outage when you are well relaxed to iron your uniform by 10:30 pm. Sorry friend, that isn’t faith in God but the spirit of procrastination at work.

Preparation for exams shouldn’t be postponed until exams are so near. Be pro-active. Wise students read and are prepared well before the exam date. Put your future in perspective and work hard towards it.

“Anything worth doing is worth doing well at the right time and with the right attitude.” Stop procrastination!

Quote:  “Often greater risk is involved in postponement than in making a wrong decision.” ~ Harry A. Hopf

Prophetic Word:  Receive the right spirit to maximize your destiny, in Jesus name.
