Bible Reading: Obadiah 1:17

Memory Verse:  By a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet he was preserved. Hosea 12:13 (NKJV)

My heart reaches out to Christians who are locked up in the cycle of ceaseless battles. There could be many reasons for this:

1. Incomplete deliverance: If you cut off the branches of a tree but leave its root, in a matter of time, it would be all grown up again. Similarly, many have fought all the demons responsible for their mysterious battles, but haven’t killed the strongman. Others have destroyed the strongman, but haven’t destroyed the altar backing him up. A few others have destroyed the altar of their father’s house, but haven’t erected a holy altar unto the Lord. In another case, some have erected a holy altar unto the Lord, but aren’t servicing the altar continually with sacrifice. Either ways, in all of these scenarios, the devil, who is legalistic in his operations, could rear his ugly head again and the problems re-occur.

2. Lack of spiritual support:  Many are fighting deep age-long foundational battle but don’t have the spiritual capacity to handle. Haven’t you heard that one will chase a thousand and two will put ten thousand to flight (Deuteronomy 32:30). Concerning ‘village ministry’, even Jesus sent people in twos’. Be wise! Look for a spiritual support. Ephesians 6:12 starts with, “We wrestle …” and not, “I wrestle…”. There are battles you fight alone and there are battles you fight more effortlessly when you have the support of others called into your area of need. There are deliverance ministers and there are foundational deliverance ministers. May you locate the man/woman with your jar of Oil needed for your own deliverance, in Jesus name.

3. Spiritual Pride: Many are too proud and perhaps are lost in spiritual fantasy because God has given them the privilege to see a bit into the realm of spirit. They have suddenly forgotten that spiritual things are in varying levels. Anointing is in cadres. They are too proud to submit to a spiritual father. They are too proud to discern a man whom have successfully passed through the same challenge and hence, can’t tap into that same grace. This simple act of humility could compress a problem meant to last for three years into three months. Never despise a spiritual father/mother. Remain humble. Remain teachable. Knowledge puffs up. Don’t let the vision and dreams of the night God is showing you provoke pride in your heart.

QuoteWisdom is always profitable to direct.

Prophetic Decree: May the good Lord open your eyes to the solution behind your problems, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Holy Spirit, please show me the root of my problems, in the name of Jesus.

2. Holy Spirit, please enlarge my spiritual capacity today, in Jesus name.

3. Holy Spirit, please connect me to the Man of God with the Oil for my total deliverance, in Jesus name.

4. Holy Spirit, please change my heart of stone to a heart of flesh today, in Jesus name.

5. I reject pride. O Lord, please help me to put on the garment of humility, in Jesus name.
