Bible Reading:  Isaiah 53:3

Memory Verse:  The stone that the builders rejected has now become the cornerstone. Psalm 118:22 (NLT)

Jesse, the father of David had subconsciously rejected the latter. He thought his last child does not have the potential capacity as the king of Israel when Prophet Samuel came visiting until God located this faithful lad. Below are other examples of people whose rejection led to re-direction until they reached their ordained destinies:

5. Jack Ma could have been defined as an epitome of failure and rejection. He was rejected in his quest to secure a job while his cousin was accepted. He failed high school test four different times in four years. Failed in his quest to secure a place in Harvard University. Failed in his employment bid at KFC. He was even rejected in the police force. However, today he is the richest man in China.

6. Walt Disney was fired from his newspaper job because he “lacked imagination and good ideas.” Today, he is noted for his contribution to the movie industry and founder of Disneyland in California, USA.

7. Winston Churchill failed sixth grade and was considered “unfit” by his teacher. Today, he’s almost certainly the most famous British prime minister.

8. Pastor Nathaniel Bassey was rejected many times at the US embassy. The crooner of the  “Hallelujah Challenge” who doesn’t charge for his performances is a global success in Gospel music.

9. An HR manager at Toyota Motor Corporation rejected Soichiro Honda when he applied for an engineering job, leaving him jobless until he began making scooters in his garage and eventually founded Honda Motor Company. Soichiro Honda was rejected by Toyota because God had something greater for him than just spending the rest of his life as an engineer with Toyota.

Beloved, don’t ever give in to people’s rejection; rather ask God to redirect you to your place of destiny fulfilment. No matter the number of rejections on your way in life, keep looking out for other platforms of expression.

Quote Failure and rejection doesn’t make you a failure, quitting does. Persistence conquers resistance.

Prophetic Decree: I command the Oil of acceptance wherever you have been rejected, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Rain of acceptance from God the Father, fall on me, in Jesus name.

2. Altars servicing rejection in my face, catch fire, in Jesus name.

3. Anywhere I have been tied down, eating the bread of sorrow and the water of affliction and rejection, I come out by fire, in Jesus name.

4. Opportunity wasters, be wasted, in Jesus name.

5. I gather back all my wasted opportunities and rejected offers, in Jesus mighty name.
