SPIRITUAL IMPARTATION: THE MATTER OF THE HEART

SPIRITUAL IMPARTATION: THE MATTER OF THE HEART

Bible Reading: Acts 8: 18-23

Memory Verse:  You have no part or share in this matter, for your heart is not right before God. Acts 8:21 (NASB)

A certain man of God is from South Eastern part of a country while his father-in-the-Lord is from the South Western part of the same country. That means they have different cultural backgrounds. He once said, “I have never gone physically before my father-in-the-Lord to do eye service. I have never knelt down to greet him. I am not from there. That is their culture. Here, when we respect someone, it is from inside. You can prostrate in hypocrisy and after the person is gone, you stand up and abuse him. Honour is not how you kneel down.

Honour is a heart issue. Honour is not proximity; it is connectivity. It is more of the heart than physical display. You can lie down on the ground and have no honour. I’ve seen people who said they will die with my father-in-the-Lord and still turn around to abuse him. I honour him to a point that you can’t talk about him negatively where I am. Our heart is that spiritual organ that connect us to the flow of prophetic blessings.

Take Note:

1. The first point of contact when it comes to receiving the blessings that come from a father is your heart.

2. The openness of your heart is the most important condition to receiving impartation.

3. Proximity to the anointing is not a sure guarantee of impartation. You are close to a man of God does not mean you will automatically carry his grace. Your heart must be opened.

4. God has instructed you to leave a ministry to start yours does not mean you should disconnect from the General Overseer, and by extension the grace at work in the ministry. Stay connected. No man is an Island. We need one another in the body of Christ.

5. Mantles are only transferred from one generation to another via impartation.

N.B. Spiritual father is a generic term. God uses both men and women to bless and impart.

Quote: Our heart is the part that connect us to the flow of prophetic blessings.

Prophetic Decree: Any spiritual wall between you and the vessel with your jar of Oil shall crumble in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. My Father, please grant me a repentant, contrite and broken heart in Jesus name.

2. I bind and cast out the spirit of hypocrisy from my heart, in Jesus name.

3. Dr. Jesus, please perform a heart surgery in me today, in Jesus name.

4. I will not miss my Kairos (appointed time) for impartation and subsequent manifestation, in Jesus name.

5. Flesh in me die, that I may carry ancient mantle needed for transgenerational impartation, in Jesus name.

6. Spiritual aggression provoked between you and man of God shall not prosper, in Jesus name.
