Bible Reading: Isaiah 55:3, Genesis 39:21
Memory Verse: Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:16 (NKJV)
Have you ever thought of what it means to redeem time? What are the provisions God has installed in the process of life to cater for such possibilities? It is one thing to quote a scripture such as our memory verse, and it is another thing to enter into its inheritance. Time redemption is the process of recovery of your wasted years and wasted opportunities. God, having seen and evaluated Man whom He created knew for sure that without putting adequate structures called tokens of time redemption in the journey of man, He may not be capable of fulfilling his destiny because of Man’s many flaws, weaknesses, and spiritual battles. Such tokens of destiny fulfillment includes Mercy, Favour, Prophecy, etc.
- Mercy: Both Saints and Sinners need the mercy of God. It is mercy that makes men do great things. No mortal man will ever be qualified for any great feat achieved. Imagine a man destined to be a prophet but gave his life to Christ when he was 40 years old. Taking a lead from Jesus, he is meant to spend about 18 years in training. Obviously, he is behind destiny schedule. Mercy bridges the gap between your past and your present such that what you are meant to learn in 18 years can be delivered within 8 years and such a person still goes ahead to fulfill his destiny before he dies.
2. Favour: A married woman was barren for several years. The mercy of God then opened her womb and passed the baton further to the favour of God. Consequently, she gave birth to triplets. Those are not just children, they are signatures and testaments of God’s favour. The children that should have taken her 5-9 years if spaced one after another came just after one pregnancy. That’s God’s favour communicating God’s system of time redemption. You shall receive a greater dose of God’s favour in your affairs henceforth, in Jesus name.
Quote: There is a technology in the Spirit that will always cater for your disadvantages.
Prophetic Decree: Your come back after your numerous set backs shall be in 100 folds by the force of mercy and God’s favour, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. Thank you Father because despite my many flaws, should I work with you in all obedience, I am still capable of fulfilling my destiny in You.
2. I plug my life to the socket of favour, in Jesus name.
3. Mercy of God, overtake my faults and mistakes, in Jesus name.
4. Power of the Cross, cross out my many mistakes staring me in the eyes, in Jesus name.
5. The height I never thought I could ever reach, the places I thought I could never enter, O Lord, plant my feet there, by your mercies and covenant favour, in Jesus name.
