THE WONDERS OF SACRIFICIAL KINGDOM SERVICE

Bible Reading:  Psalm 50:5

Memory VerseBut without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 (AMP)

Beyond discipline are other ingredients that constitutes to the lifting of a man. While Benjamin in our yesterday’s devotional could be said to be disciplined, his incense of kingdom service and sacrifice was also speaking as a memorial altar before God. For seven (7) full years, he wasn’t able to get a job. Friends, do you know to be idle is worse than being jobless? Though he couldn’t secure a job, he decided to serve God sacrificially in his Church. He was contented with the little stipends he was being offered at random. Please hear me beloved: Your kingdom service doesn’t die.

Your sacrifices of love are sweet smelling incense before God. When you get to the junction of breakthrough, and the enemy wants to pull some strings, your altar of sacrificial service will arise and speak favour in your behalf. There is more to huge success than the eyes can see. Benjamin’s altar of sacrifice was part of the technology heaven deployed to disrupt the agenda of the enemy that wanted him to lose that most profitable job. Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV), “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

In this Year 2023, what have you decided to do for the Lord sacrificially? I know your work could be so demanding but, you must, as matter of compulsion, covenant yourself to kingdom service using your time, talents and treasures for your Master. You know one thing about life? You will always have time for what is on your priority list. “I don’t have time” is a myth. Really, you haven’t created time. You don’t have time simply because you haven’t created time. You will always have time for what you created time for. Your Kingdom service serves as a memorial altar during your hour of darkness. Moreover, on the judgement day, God will require of you to give an account of every talent, grace, gift, treasures, and opportunity He ever gave you on earth. Hope you won’t be liable? Remember the judgement of the servant with one talent who hid it in Matthew 25:14-30?
