Training routines of athletes are highly specific to their sport, the athlete’s individual needs, and their goals. However, there are specifics. What is required for a swimmer may not be all that is required for a boxer or wrestler.
Similarly, as the good Lord begins to separate us into the specifics of our calling, the fundamental spiritual exercises apply to everyone, while the uniqueness of our personal calling may place the demand of higher consecration on each of us uniquely.
For example, a man whom God is calling into the office of a prophet may discover that his spirit man is yearning for more hours of prayers than ever before. A man whom God is calling into the office of a Pastor may soon discover that he is becoming overly concern about people’s needs and well-being.
A holy dissatisfaction as touching discipleship and a passion for Christians to know God for themselves may grip his heart. A person called into the office of an Evangelist will discover that he is always wailing on the altar of prayers for souls to be saved, despite his own pressing prayer needs.
Furthermore, beyond the scope of the five ministerial offices are other areas where God will be needing TRAINED SOLDIERS to establish His purposes. Do not forget that we are the light of the world and salt of the earth. There are End-time Christians God will be training and equipping to take over government and politics, the world of art and entertainment, education, media, and the business world. The question is how prepared or trained are you?
This is where the Church comes in again. It takes 4-5 years to study most courses in the university under a structured curriculum. Until then, you cannot be called a graduate. Where are the curriculum of the Church of Christ for Christians called into other mountains of influence aforementioned, other than the mountain of religion? Such people would require other specialized trainings coupled with regular Bible study and prayers.
The role of the five-fold ministry is to equip the Saints. Until there are well-trained Christians in politics, in the media, in sports, education etc, we are not ready to take the world by surprise. Our training and equipping the Saints must go beyond the mountain of religion. We need to arise and take our world for Jesus. The earth is the Lord’s and its fullness thereof (Psalm 24:1).

Prophetic Decree: Receive grace for kingdom impact, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. Lord, as the body of Christ, we repent in every way we might have failed You, in Jesus name.
2. Holy Spirit, equip a generation of ministers who will work in special anointing and strange dimensions, in Jesus name.
3. Holy Spirit, equip a generation of well-trained soldiers who will take the media, art and entertainment for Jesus Christ, in Jesus name.
4. Holy Spirit, equip a generation of well-trained soldiers who will take politics and government for Jesus Christ, in Jesus name.
5. Holy Spirit, equip a generation of well-trained soldiers who will take sports and education for Jesus Christ, in Jesus name.
