WHERE DO YOU KEEP YOUR PROBLEMS?

Bible Reading: Matthew 11:28, Ephesians 3:20

Memory Verse: Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer & supplication, with Thanksgiving, let your request be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6 (KJV)

If you keep problems in your head, you may go mad.

If you keep problems in your heart, you may have a heart attack.

If you keep problems in your mouth, you may become a talkative and sell yourself to a friendly enemy.

If you keep problems in your house, you may have a broken home.

If you keep problems to yourself, you may die early with them.

If you keep problems with your neighbours, they may gossip about it.

If you ignore problems, you will only be prolonging the evil day.

If you keep problems with your relatives, they may mock you.

lf you keep problems with friends, they may betray you.

lf you keep problems in your face, you may look ugly.

If you disclose problems in the office, they will avoid you or you lose respect.

If you keep problems in your bed, you may have nightmares.

If you take problems to school, you may fail your studies and examination.

If you take problems to Satan, he will make it worse.

Where then can you take your problems? Why not put your problems in a bag and hang it on the Cross of Jesus Christ because only He can carry your problems perfectly. 1 Peter 5:7 says, “Casting all your care upon him; for He cares for you”.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Matthew 18

HYMN:  WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS

1. What a friend we have in Jesus,

all our sins and griefs to bear!

What a privilege to carry

everything to God in prayer!

O what peace we often forfeit,

O what needless pain we bear,

all because we do not carry

everything to God in prayer!

2. Have we trials and temptations?

Is there trouble anywhere?

We should never be discouraged;

take it to the Lord in prayer!

Can we find a friend so faithful

who will all our sorrows share?

Jesus knows our every weakness;

take it to the Lord in prayer!

3. Are we weak and heavy laden,

cumbered with a load of care?

Precious Savior, still our refuge–

take it to the Lord in prayer!

Do your friends despise, forsake you?

Take it to the Lord in prayer!

In his arms he’ll take and shield you;

you will find a solace there.
