Bible Reading: Genesis 17: 1-8.

Memory Verse: No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nation. Genesis 17:5 (NKJV)

In preparation for the promise of God, Abram meaning ‘high father’ was changed to Abraham meaning ‘father of many nations’ (Gen.17:4,5). The idolatry foundation of his home town – Ur of Chaldees – dealt ruthlessly with his destiny (Gen 15:7). He was named “high father” but his destiny remained seated in the valley of life. Hence, Jehovah changed his name.

Barnabas means ‘son of consolation’ or ‘an encourager’ (Acts 11:23). He lived truly to his name by encouraging the disciples to accept Saul of Tarsus (who later became Paul) after his conversion. He was also an encourager to Paul throughout the duo’s first missionary journey (Acts 13:2).

Names are spiritual buttons in the realm of the spirit. Names have spiritual codes. A positive or negative signal is sent to heaven anytime your name is called on earth and of course, with corresponding effect. Ignorance is not an excuse in the realm of the spirit. You are either informed or deformed. You need to cry to the God of Israel and wipe out any handwriting of evil ordained against your destiny via your name.

Quote:     Your name is a pointer to your prophetic destiny.

Prophetic Word:  I initiate a spiritual reverse system back to your Divine original, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

  1. Blood of Jesus, de-programme every evil ordination programmed against my name, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Whatever has been done against me on my naming ceremony day, by the mercy of God I reverse it, in Jesus name.
  3. Blood of Jesus, deliver me from every childhood problem, in the name of Jesus.
  4. Like Jacob cry out: My Father, change my name, in the name of Jesus.
  5. I blot out every ordinance of evil attached to my name, in Jesus name.
