Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 3:16

Memory Verse: Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. 1 Corinthians 6:19 (NIV)

When the devil desires to ruin a generation, it concentrate on her youths. My heart sink when I see future leaders used as tools in the hands of the devil. To make matters worse, they are hooked to drugs. Who will deliver this generation of youths? The story is told of a 19-year-old who is hooked to hard drugs. She confessed her friends introduced her to hard drugs. Do you know how many teenagers and youths are entering into crevices in search for drugs? The underway passages even in some developed countries have become an habitation for drug addicts.

What is the way out?

1. Strategic Parenting: A single mother of three children have just lost one of her sons to transgenderism. The young man has been pumping female hormone into his body. This is similar to how parents lose their children to drug addiction. Too much work and less time for their children. They go in the morning and come back in the night only to go again the next day for seven days in a week. Who do you think will take care of your children like you do? Your many shifts (job hours) may not deliver you from money problems. Perhaps you need a remote job, or a 8am – 4pm job. Parenting is serious business, dear parents. Please pray your children into a personal encounter with God.

2. Rehabilitation: Perhaps the die has been cast, then you need a corrective program. If possible, use a Christian rehabilitation home. Addiction is backed up by a spirit.

3. Spiritual warfare: You must take the battle to the gate of the enemy to let your children go. Great destinies usually attract great battles (Ephesians 6:12). Bind and cast out the controlling spirit involved. Many people are using ONLY medical procedures to solve deeply spiritual problems. You need both medical and spiritual input.

4. Watch your circle of friends: Beloved, you will eventually become who your friends look like. Don’t say it doesn’t matter. Friendship with the world is enemity with God. If sinners entice you, consent thou not (Prov. 1:10). Evil communications corrupt good manners (1 Cor. 15:33).

Prophetic Decree: Your children are escaped as the bird out of the snare of the fowler, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus 

1. Lord, I am sorry for polluting my body, the temple of the living of God.

2. I break the stronghold of addiction in my life, in Jesus name.

3. Blood of Jesus toxify my blood, in Jesus name.

4. I snatch my children from the hands of the strongman of my father’s house lording over their lives, in Jesus name.

5. Territorial spirit, release me and die, in Jesus name.
